Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 4 Remake

I decided to play Resident 4 and Remake in the same week not to suspecting to beat both of them at the end of the week but compare some chapters in my view. Playing the original Resident Evil 4 started off with two guys dropping me off in a village, I started going in the house seeing a Ganado you have to option the shoot him or run away I decided to kill him, while playing I forgot some of the mechanics were different from Remake I played from a long time ago.

During the playthrough I remember you couldn’t hit the boxes inside the Village I had to shoot them. Running was different from the Remake I had to hold L1X at the same time. Since I started at the Normal with no New Level, I didn’t get to chance to Kill Chain Saw Man. The next area is finding the Blue Medallions and killing more Ganado, I usually skip Medallions on this game but I decided to get all ten of them in this area.

The next area was just to dodge traps and don’t get kill by Ganado that throw dynamite and I got hit two times by and almost died by going to get some more ammo inside another house with three Ganado that had dynamite. When I decided to leave that part, I went inside the second house to save my game on the typewriter and find Louis when you find him Bitores Mendez try to kill Leon and Louis then quick buttons shows up to dodge that attack.

Chapter 1-2 started with Leon by himself going out the house and seeing the Merchant for the first time you buy, sell, and upgrade items from him, you can kill him if you want to but I decided not to. The next area is to find and combine Hexagon Piece C to opening the door, I decided to try not to waste ammo on Ganado since there were so many coming after me.

Once I found them the next area was to go in another house where you to escape the house to without dying, I miss two items during that area, next was another house where a find to solve a puzzle to open the door, then a cut scene happens showing Bitores Mendez grabbing Leon trying to kill him then he saw Leon had red eyes saying “You are just like us.” Then the cut scene ending.

Chapter 1-3 started with Leon in the house, I decided to check the house for item, and forgot there was a Ganado in down stairs room. After I was finish with the house, I found some Ganado and Dr. Salvador waiting for me, it took me two flame grenades, and couple shotguns shells to kill Dr. Salvador. After killing them I had to kill some more with an explosion grenade killing the ones blocking the door.

The next area lead, back to the village where some more Ganado ran towards me so I flash bomb them and kick one of them than ran pass the rest of them, to the door that needed the Insignia Key to open it up. When I open it up the room was smaller than I remember and I forgot about the cave that was under the house that led to the church. Before you get to the Church you can kill or run from the Ganado and shoot some more Blue Medallions, the Church is close so Hunnigan tell Leon about how Ashley is stuck in the church and made a joke about the scenic route.

Before walking on the bridge, I decided to the Dial Insignias Puzzle it took me awhile because I didn’t want no help, so I finally gave in and look on Youtube for help to solve it. When going on the bridge you can shoot the rest of the Blue Medallions. After going in the mini house, I decide to kill all the Ganado basically wasted my bullets on them.

The next area feature, more mini house with ammo and a monster yelling and making noise, he doesn’t do anything right now so go in a small basement where you can talk to the Merchant and he will sell you a Pisto due to completing Blue Medallions mission, while talking to the Merchant I decided to upgrade the handgun, buy the Machine Gun and left that area.

The next area was full of Guandaos and with trap bombs that will almost kill you run into them, there was some treasure locate in that are but since I only had a little bit of ammo, I only shot down one treasure and left. The last area was the first Boss name Del Lago a huge fish that guides you to branches to knock Leon off boat and try to kill him, I died about five times trying to kill him.

Chapter 1 of Resident Evil 4 remake started with Ashely almost getting killed by some enemies and same thing with Leon and the drives happens in the original   game. The beginning of Leon in the Remake is completely different, you have to walk or run to the house while running Leon will see a dead Pig on the way, when you arrive at the door Leon goes inside to see what in there. I decided to skip the first door since nothing really in it if you playing for more than one time.
